What Is London’s Best Playlist?

If London’s buildings are its body, its intellectuals its brain, then its musicians can surely be classed as its heartbeat.

London’s music scene is often described using words such as vibrant, diverse, and eclectic.

In reality though, music speaks for itself and listening to London based bands, or London  themed songs, is a great way to get a feel for the city.

If you visit London can you truly say that you’ve experienced the city if you haven’t delved in to its music?

Here are a few suggestions for a London playlist to act as a soundtrack to your next London visit.

The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones.

Formed in London in 1962 The Rolling Stones epitomise the swinging 60’s. Despite their songs being almost fifty years old they still capture the feel of London and its youthful energy.

‘Street Fighting Man’ is the first on the playlist.
